The Mean Girls play was really good. The main character was Caty she moved from africa and was home schooled all her life. Caty met the "plastics." 

Youth Peace Building Project

We have been doing a peace building project it's been really fun. We do really fun activities it's fun because everyone participates when we do a fun game. My favorite activity was the human knot game you had to gather in a circle and put your hands out so both of your hands are crossed with another person. The goal of this game is to get everyone in the circle to untangle everyone's hand. The people who have been working with us are funny people and fun to be around. I have learned that you could learn and have fun at the same time.

Novel Study

Knife of Never Letting Go

I liked this book because there's lots of action and at the end there's a twist. My favorite character was Manchee it was so sad when he died by Aaron. My favorite part in the story was when Todd and Manchee had to rescue Viola from Aaron. The villain in this book was Mayor Prentiss and Davy Prentiss, Jr. The character I hated most in this book was Aaron because he killed Manchee and he would never die, but at the end he finally died to Viola.

Term 2 Reflection

Term 2 Reflection

ELA : This term we did a lot of E.L.A. Touching Spirit Bear was about a kid who got into Circle Justice for crushing Peter's skull. Cole tried to get out of Circle Justice by escaping the island. When Cole got mauled by the bear he wanted to live a different life. We did a big little book which was a reflection of the book we just read Touching Spirit Bear. Were doing a novel study called The Knife of Never letting go. The book starts out slow it's about a boy named Todd who's turning 13 who got a dog named Manchee for his birthday. Lit Circle is fun. The people in my group are Me, Ram, Gregory, Darion, and our group leader is Jaoquin the book were reading is Powerless. Right now were doing a Survivor story mine's about a family camping in the woods. We also have Reading Buddies my partner's name is Anne Marie. We did a bucket list where we have to have 100 things we have to write before we die.

 S.S : The Amazing Race was fun to study on because we got to watch every episode of it. In the end Josh and Brent became the champions. In normal Social Studies were doing the country Africa. Right now were doing African Mask's mine is the Kwele Mask. We also had to do African traditional clothing.

FRENCH :  This term we didn't do that much French. We did the 12 days of Christmas. We did E.R verbs. We also did E.R verbs bingo.

Math : We did a lot of Math this term too. We're doing a lot of fractions right now were learning how to compare fractions and multiplying fractions, adding fractions, and subtracting fractions. We are doing a lot of different methods on multiplying the methods are the array method, the Traditional method,and the Lattice method. We didn't do that much of Mental Math. We did rounding whole numbers and decimals and rounding money. We didn't do a lot of problem solving but were starting to some more of it. This term is we did lot's of test's on math. 

Science : Were learning more about minerals in Science. We also did a little bit of the earth's crust this term. We learned a lot about rocks and minerals. We also talked lot's about Sedimentary rocks, Igneous rocks, and Metamorphic rocks.

Field Trips : We went to Festival du Voyageur we were outside the whole morning but it still fun. We had a choice between sledding and skating or snow boarding and skiing. I picked Sledding and skating but I never went skating. 

Goals : This last term I really want to improve my Math and French. My 2nd goal is to get better at Band. My last goal is to get better at Basketball.

Other : In Band were Learning new songs. In P.E were starting to learn badminton, before badminton we learned about basketball.

Idle No More Movement

1) I have never heard of the Idle No More Movement until now.
2) The Idle no more movement is about Aboriginal people protesting about there right's and the Treaty rights.
3) I think there protesting about the goverment not giving them what they want.
4) My opinion is that the goverment should give the aboriginal people what they want.
