Term 3 Reflection

Term 3 Reflection

E.L.A:In this term we haven't really been doing a lot of E.L.A. We began reading The Ask and The Answer it's the sequel to The Knife ore Never Letting Go. At the start of the book Todd is separated from Viola and he's getting tortured by Mayor Prentiss. Viola wakes up in a healing centre. And Todd is slowly joining the army. We just finished the book and now were doing a final project. There's still one more book after The Ask and The Answer it's called Monsters of Men. We're still doing Reading Buddies my partner's name is Anne Marie. We're doing bullying stories with our buddies. We started doing bullying PSA's with the iPads. I'm with Ram Gregory, and Joaquin. Our PSA got deleted so now we have to start over. We did Limericks, and Concrete Poems. A Limerick poem is when you make to make a poem that has 3 beats the first 3 lines and 2 beats on 2 lines. And the last line is a 3 beat line. A concrete poem is a shape of something and putting words in it. And we did a Haiku poem mine was about a rock. We did Youth Peace Building Program it was fun we did lot's of fun games and we got to learn about different culture's and religion. And at the end we got pizza and a certificate.

Math:We did a lot of Math this term we did Pyagrus's theorem. We did lot's of tests in Math. And we just started doing Algebra. Pyagrus's theorem has a lot to do with Pi. Algebra is pretty complicated. We didn't do any Mental Math this term. We also did something where you have to find the Volume and the Surface Area of an object. We did a test on the Voume and Surface Area of a cylinder. At Math I didn't do well this term. I didn't really get fractions.
